Arrival Point: Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Nizza Tours & Safaris guide who will be waiting to receive you.

After a short briefing, you will be transferred to your accommodation for check-in and relaxation. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy the peaceful atmosphere along Lake Victoria or simply unwind after your journey.

After breakfast, depart Entebbe and begin your scenic drive west toward Kibale Forest National Park.

The journey takes you through lush countryside, tea plantations, and traditional villages, offering beautiful views of rural Uganda. As you approach the forest region, you may spot monkeys along the roadside.

In the afternoon, you may opt for a guided community walk, where you’ll learn about local culture and daily life around the forest.

Kibale is famously known as the “Primate Capital of the World,” home to 13 primate species including chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and mangabeys.

Today is dedicated to primate exploration in Kibale Forest.

After an early breakfast, head into the rainforest with expert guides for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Listening to their calls echo through the forest as you track them through the canopy is both thrilling and humbling.

Depending on your tracking schedule, you will also enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community-managed reserve is rich in birdlife and primates, offering excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.

Return to your lodge for relaxation in the evening.

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Along the way, you will pass the Equator, where you can stop briefly for photos and a memorable moment standing between the northern and southern hemispheres.

Arrive at the park in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. This park is one of Uganda’s most wildlife-rich destinations, offering sightings of elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and possibly leopards.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Watch the savannah come alive as predators retreat and grazing animals roam freely.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and some rest before enjoying an afternoon boat safari along the famous Kazinga Channel.

This channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is known for having one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa. Elephants, buffaloes, and countless bird species can often be seen along the shores.

After breakfast, drive through the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park toward the remote Ishasha sector.

Enjoy the peaceful wilderness atmosphere of this less-visited sector.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Ishasha, maximizing your chances of spotting wildlife before departure.

After breakfast, journey toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes you through scenic mountain landscapes, terraced hillsides, and rural villages.

Bwindi is one of the only two places in the world where you can find endangered mountain gorillas. Arrive at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the highlight of your safari.

Today is the most anticipated experience of your safari.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your guided gorilla trek. Accompanied by experienced rangers, hike through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat — a truly emotional and life-changing encounter.

Return to your lodge for rest and reflection.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park.

Arrive in time for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive or optional boat cruise on the lake.

Lake Mburo is unique as one of the few parks in Uganda where you can see zebras and the only park with impalas. In the evening, enjoy a thrilling night game drive with high chances of spotting leopards and other nocturnal wildlife.

Begin the day with a guided walking safari or morning game drive, offering a different perspective of the park’s wildlife.

Arrive in Entebbe and transfer to the airport for your outbound flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Ugandan adventure.
